Let me introduce myself! I am Kirsten Bassion of The Clay School in Lynn, MA. We have a sweet ceramic studio in the Lydia Pinkham Building that has been thriving for over 20 YEARS!! And serving about 280 artists and students who all love clay as much as I do.

I studied ceramics in College starting at Skidmore in the 90s then stints at the college of William & Mary, Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, and finally a Masters of Fine Arts in Ceramics at Rochester Institute of Technology…..about 10 years…I should have decided to be a doctor! Would have been quicker 😅

I designed and set up The Clay School to be just like the college Studios I know in love with 24/7 Studio access and the quality of teaching you would get at a university all for the price of a community class.
