Who says STEM can’t taste good?! Miss Allison’s class turned in their Golden Tickets after reading Chapters 3 & 4 of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and used the lab to make their own chocolate! 🍫🍭🍬🧬🔬🧑‍🍳

This week Miss Allison’s class is taking flight in their lesson about Northeastern American Birds 🦆🐥🦜🦅🐤🪶🐦‍⬛🪺

Our lesson included birdwatching outdoors, reading about local native bird species, building birdhouses & birdfeeders, and making our own bird seed recipes!

After some research, we learned that bird seed is actually edible for humans, since it’s just nuts, fruits, and seeds! Swiped to the end to see our students reactions to tasting some spinach & kale bird treats 😆

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard?” -Dr. Seuss

One of our highlights from summer was our end of summer cookout celebration at Endicott Park! We enjoyed hot dogs & burgers under the pavilion, played co****le, saw horses in the stables, and visited the playground. Our students and staff enjoyed this well deserved day after a great summer 🌳🌭☀️🍔🛝🍉🏈😎
