This Celebration began in Breed Middle School Lecture Hall in 2016; with the support of our former Principal, Mrs. Julie Louf and our LPS Superintendent, Dr. Molly Cohen.

WHY DO WE CELEBRATE?
Because sometimes first- and second-generation Hispanic youth may feel ashamed of their language, their ancestors, or their heritage. We want to remind them that their Hispanic heritage is not something to hide—it is something to be proud of!

As Hispanic immigrants and members of the community, we have a responsibility to inspire our young people and help them recognize the incredible contributions of Hispanics throughout history and today.

There are great Hispanic scientists, educators, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and politicians who have broken barriers, opened doors, and continue contributing to making this country a land of opportunity for everyone.

🌎 Our language is our strength.
❤️ Our heritage is our identity.
🌟 Our history is our inspiration.
🚀 Our youth are our future.

Let us come together to celebrate where we come from, honor those who came before us, and inspire the next generation to dream big, believe in themselves, and proudly say:

Congratulations, Mr. Mike Zimirowski on your well-deserved appointment as Principal!
All BMS teachers, personnel, and students have had the privilege of witnessing your dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to students and our school community.
You have always been more than a Vice Principal—you have been a mentor, a source of encouragement, and someone who genuinely believes in the potential of every student.

Thank you for your willingness to stop, listen, and have meaningful conversations with students, motivating them to make good choices, believe in themselves, and strive for excellence.
Your leadership has never been about authority; it has been about inspiring others, building trust, and helping people become the best version of themselves.

Your appointment as Principal is not only well deserved but also a tremendous gift to our school. Breed Middle School Families

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Molly Cohen has appointed Michael Zimirowski principal of Breed Middle School. Michael Zimirowski Michael Zimirowski has been an educator in Lynn Public Schools for 29 years, including the last 13 as vice principal at Breed. Prior to that he was a guidance counselor at Breed for eight years and a science teacher at Lynn English.



A Lynn English graduate, Zimirowski earned his bachelor’s degree at the College of the Holy Cross, where he was captain of the football team, and a master’s in education at Salem State University. He was an assistant football coach at Lynn English from 1997-05.



“Michael is an outstanding educational leader who has been part of the fabric of the Breed community for more than 20 years,” Cohen said. “He has the respect of students, staff, families and district administration. He is ready for this opportunity
