That’s a wrap on another great summer of camps at LI! From fly fishing and welding to sports, dance, performing arts, and more, our summer camps gave students of all ages the chance to try something new, build skills, and have a lot of fun along the way. It was great to see so much energy and excitement across campus throughout the summer. A big thank you to all of our instructors, staff, and students who helped make this year’s camps such a success.

A quick reminder for families: 2026 tuition vouchers are now due. Students who live in choice towns are required to submit a Request for Public Tuition Dollars (Tuition Voucher) to their school district each year. This applies to both new and returning students. If your student is new or your family has moved within the past year, please be sure to include proof of residency along with your completed form. Your tuition voucher serves as the official request for your district to pay tuition on your student’s behalf.
Completed forms should be submitted directly to your school district by mail or email. If you have questions, please contact your school district or the LI Business Office. Be sure to follow the instructions in the graphic below to access your district’s form.

A new gateway to the Lyndon Institute woods is taking shape thanks to one student's Keel Project. As part of Lyndon Institute's Vail Scholars Program, Boden Brown designed and built a Viking arch at the entrance to LI's nature trails. The project combines craftsmanship, creativity, and school spirit while creating a grand welcoming entrance to a space used for classes, recreation, and outdoor learning. The arch is a lasting addition to campus that will welcome students, faculty, and visitors to the LI woods for years to come.

Remember that fall sports are just around the corner! Join us on tomorrow, August 6, at 5:30 PM in the Alumni Auditorium to meet the Lyndon Institute coaching staff. This meeting is mandatory for all new incoming student-athletes. Returning students are encouraged to attend to meet this year's coaching staff, welcome new teammates and their families, and learn about updated policies for the upcoming season. We look forward to kicking off another great year of Viking athletics. See you there!
