📸 Throwback Thursday!

With back-to-school right around the corner, LI's halls and classrooms will soon be filled with new memories, friendships, and, of course, a few shenanigans — just like they always have been.

Can you guess what year these photos of life at LI are from? đź‘€

Bonus points if you recognize any familiar faces! 🕵️

Drop your guesses in the comments!

ALUMNI IN THE NEWS | Dan Camber ’90
From LI student to LI teacher — and, in the summertime, lavender farmer!

Dan Camber ’90, who now teaches Automotive Technology here at Lyndon Institute, and his wife, Cindy, were recently featured by NBC5 for Peacham Lavender Farm.

What began with 300 lavender plants has grown into a venture that brings the Cambers' lavender to farmers markets, weddings, and community events.

We always enjoy learning what our alumni are doing in their communities. It was great to see Dan and Cindy featured by NBC5!

Check out the full story below!

This Is Our Home: In Peacham, one couple is using their love for lavender to bring a touch of Provence, France to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Congratulations to recent Lyndon Institute graduates Daegan Hever '26 and Logan Wheeler '26, who proudly represented LI in the 2026 Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl on August 1st.

The two helped lead Team Vermont to an impressive 42–12 victory over New Hampshire in the 73rd annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl, marking Vermont's record-setting fourth consecutive win.

Beyond the game itself, the Lyndon Institute connection runs deep in both families, making this achievement all the more meaningful.

Their connection doesn't stop there:

🎂 Daegan and Logan share the same birthday.

🏥 They were born just down the hall from one another at the same hospital.

🔗 Their moms, Kelley Hever '04 and Heather Wheeler '90, have both served as LI's Alumni Engagement Coordinator—Heather previously, while Kelley currently serves in the role.

Congratulations to Daegan, Logan, and their families on this well-deserved honor!

Congratulations again to Dan Stahler '92 on an incredible achievement!

Earlier this year, we celebrated Dan's appearance in the PBS documentary Guardians of Yellowstone: The Yellowstone Cougar Project. We're thrilled to share that the documentary has now been recognized with an Emmy Award!

If you haven't seen the documentary yet, it's well worth watching:
