Broadway Bound

a solution… an inspiration conceived by Broadway Veterans Paul and Maureen Kastl. As parents of two children who expressed an interest in performing, we wanted to encourage their ambitions, foster their talents, and at the same time secure their childhood. As former Broadway performers, we knew the risks of exposing young children to the rigors of auditioning. We also knew that if those same young children ended up with the talent necessary to sustain a career, a required level of skill was mandatory. Our own personal experience taught us that the schools in the area did not offer the level of training necessary to seriously train a student in a total and comprehensive way. They focused on competitions, and affording only the best students the instruction needed to become professionals. We believed other things were more important. We felt all the aspects of performing should be offered… singing, dancing, acting, and the many facets of musical theatre. 31 years later we had the right idea. It is through artistic diversity that you can arrive at an individual’s true potential. Confidence, a strong work ethic, the ability to perform from the heart, and a sense of extended family are so much more important than an ideal body type or another trophy on the shelf. Any school can take individuals with natural ability and a certain amount of training and make them great... maybe exceptional. However, the sign of a great school (notice we said great not good) is that they can take an individual with an average level of ability and allow them to be achieve their fullest potential. We are all unique and have a voice inside, a dance to perform and talent to give the world. We are IMMENSELY proud of each of our students: From the ones who are truly paying attention to each bit of instruction to the ones who take a little time to find their unique gift that may have otherwise been unrealized without time and a little love. We nurture each student’s creative ambitions and help them to become the stellar performers they dream to be. We are true believers that anything worth doing is worth doing right and the lessons we provide bring them the confidence and knowledge to be formidable... AND... wonderful performers. We are a family... we are Bound for Broadway... We are Broadway Bound. Come on in... you’re always Welcome
