Our Lyndhurst Middle School students have launched Bear & Blossom Honey Co., and we’re looking for community partners to help our hive thrive!
By becoming a sponsor, your business will be recognized at the Lyndhurst Farmers Market, featured on our program materials, and highlighted on their webpage. Every contribution helps provide supplies and opportunities for our student-run honey bee program.

We’re excited to welcome two new honey bee hives to our school. These tiny pollinators will help our local ecosystem thrive while giving students a real-world look at ecology and genetics in action!

🧠✨ Mental Health Awareness Week - May 18-22

Next week, we’ll be celebrating the importance of mental health through a fun spirit week, focused on wellness, mindfulness, kindness, and positivity. We encourage our students and families to take time for self-care, support one another, and remember that mental health matters 💙💛 Be sure to check out the flyer for each day’s theme and join us in spreading positivity all week long!

What a fun day at LMS on Take Your Child to Work Day! ✨ Our visitors jumped into bingo, got hands-on with a cool science experiment, showed off their creativity with painting, and of course… enjoyed a well-earned pizza lunch. 🍕🎨🔬 Each child also received a certificate to remember the day.
We loved having them with us and hope everyone who spent the day at work with their families learned something new, and maybe even discovered a future career interest!

To celebrate National Social-Emotional Learning Week, our school counselors created a “Shout-Out Wall” where students and staff could leave notes of appreciation to brighten each other’s day 💛 Even got a doggy shout out! 🐶
What started as a one-week activity turned into a month-long celebration. Students kept asking for more shout-out papers, so we have kept it going!
Social-Emotional Learning helps build empathy, kindness, and strong relationships, and this was a great reminder of how powerful our words can be.
