🐄🐷🐔 Down on the Farm! 🚜🌾

Our classrooms brought the farm to life by creating their very own farms from barns to all kinds of adorable farm animals! 🐴🐑🐮

Our little learners had so much fun discovering which animals live on a farm, what they eat, the sounds they make, and so much more. Learning through creativity and hands-on play makes every day an adventure!

✨ Learning is always more fun when you can get your hands messy! 🌙🤲

Our Pre-K students made their very own moon sand, then put it to work by practicing their sight words! Writing in sensory materials helps strengthen fine motor skills, reinforces letter recognition, and makes learning feel like play. It’s a fun, hands-on way to build confidence while developing early reading skills.

Splash Day is always a favorite at Summer Camp! Our campers had an amazing time cooling off, playing water games, and sharing plenty of laughs with their friends. It’s the perfect way to stay active, build friendships, and make unforgettable summer memories. ☀️

✨ A little milk, food coloring, and dish soap turned into a colorful science lesson! 🌈🥛🔬

Our students became little scientists as they made predictions about what would happen before starting the experiment. Then came the magic! When the dish soap touched the milk, the colors danced and swirled across the surface.

Why did it happen? 🧪 The soap breaks apart the fat molecules in the milk, creating movement that pushes the food coloring around. It’s a fun way to explore chemistry while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, observation, and prediction skills!

Hands-on learning is one of the best ways to inspire a lifelong love of science. 💙

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
