DO YOU FREE BUZZ?

Raise your hand 🖐 if you think free-buzzing is hard!

When I was in college I couldn't, and just thought "welp, some people can, and some people just can't and that's just me, I can't"

I was so wrong! Ever heard that annoying saying "can't never could"? Did you know that it is actually a quote from the 1st century B.C.? or so I've read, but maybe we have doubted ourselves for a REALLY long time...anyhow...

It is an accurate maxim for this-- free-buzzing is a fantastic way to help get back in shape, or start the warm-up just to get things going. It has been a game changer for me, and so many pros out there do it.

Buzzing without the mouthpiece is like weightlifting without the rack that holds the weights. You have to use ALL MUSCLE, control everything on your own, and there's nothing there to help you out.

As soon as the mouthpiece touches the lip, the buzz has something to "latch" onto. But it's crucial to develop these muscles without the mouthpiece if you want:
Stronger sound
Better endurance and accuracy
Easy and steady tone production
