TONIGHT we have the pleasure of hosting Dr. David F. Klink, Chair of the Department of Specialty Medicine and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at LUCOM. Dr. Klink served in the US Navy as a Captain for 28 years and is specialized in Neuro and Pediatric Ophthalmology. The meeting will begin at 6pm and will be held in the Science Hall Auditorium, room 128. Pizza will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Pre-Soma will host its first meeting of the semester TODAY in SH 128 at 6 pm. We have the honor of hosting Dr. Morrison, who serves at LUCOM as Assistant Dean of Clincal Education, Academic and Career Advisor, and Chair of Surgery. He will be speaking on medical ethics. Tonight Pre-SOMA will have the wonderful oppurtunity to host Dr. Kribs, Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of OMM at LUCOM, as he explains "What does it mean to be a D.O.". There will also be an OMM demo performed by a group of LUCOM students. For anyone who is on the fence about medical school or simply desire to learn more about Osteopathic Medicine, this event is just for you! Please meet at SH 128 at 6:00 pm. Pizza will also be served. Osteopathic medicine is a holistic approach to healing. The following article demonstrates how the basic principles of this philosophy encouraged cigarette smokers to quit.
