What a blessing it is to create for the Lord, the Ultimate Creator! Professor Smith had the amazing opportunity of completing a Live Sculpture at Thomas Road Baptist Church’s Youth event, “Episode”. Over 1,000 students were present from various local churches in Lynchburg. Professor Smith sculpted a bust of Jesus Christ all through the worship and sermon. At the end of the night, students who gave their lives to Christ stood on stage and placed a thorn on the crown that sits upon Jesus’s head. What a blessed night it was!

The exhibition, Auschwitz Album Revisited, is not a collection of paintings featuring fictional characters. This collection is one comprised of real people, real history, and real tribulation. It is so important that way we look at the faces of those appearing in these paintings and remember all they endured, and still endure today. We invite you to visit the Liberty University Art Muse until February 10 to experience this exhibition.

Join us in the Liberty University Art Museum for the exhibition, Auschwitz Album Revisited. This show features a selection of work by artist Pat Mercer Hutchens, a woman who dedicated her life to preserving the memory of a time in history that we should never forget.

This exhibition will have a soft opening upon our return to campus. We invite you to visit the Liberty University Art Museum and experience this show Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through February 10. Please join us as we remember and honor those who were, and still are, impacted by the Holocaust.
