A few students attended the SOMA Summer Leadership (SLM) Conference in Chicago, IL. During this conference, the students were given updates from a variety of organizations including NBOME, AOA, COSGP, SAAO and others. Among SOMA chapter leaders, they discussed ways to further engage students and feasible ways to increase funding within local chapters to provide more opportunities for fellow peers.
If the SLM conference wasn't exciting enough, Matthew McIntyre (pictured far left) was elected by fellow Region 3 peers as one of ten junior National SOMA Resolution Committee members. It’s exciting to have represented on a national level!
