You are seen in the silence, and you are deeply loved in the struggle. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” - Psalm 34:18

Research Week 2026 officially begins today, and we are so incredibly proud of our SBS students who are stepping up to present their hard work on everything from trauma-informed care to developmental psychology. These presentations represent months of dedication to advancing the field of behavioral sciences, and now it’s time to share those insights with the Liberty community. Happy Counseling Awareness Month! This April, we’re celebrating the impact of professional counselors and shifting our focus toward the importance of mental health for children and adolescents. We are so proud of our SBS students and faculty who are dedicated to providing solutions and support that help the next generation thrive!

He is risen! Today, the School of Behavioral Sciences celebrates the cornerstone of our faith and the ultimate source of the hope we share with others. While we spend our semesters studying the complexities of the human mind and heart, Easter reminds us of the profound restoration made possible through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we reflect on the victory of the empty tomb, we are anchored by the promise in 1 Peter 1:3, which reminds us that through His great mercy, we have been born again into a living hope. May your day be filled with the peace of the Savior and the joy of knowing that we serve a God who makes all things new. Happy Easter to our entire SBS family!
