“I'm pretty healthy.” Are you really?
Do you know how many calories you eat vs how many you should? Are you actually getting enough protein, or are you guessing? Are you intentionally choosing strenuous activity, or are you just living your everyday life and calling it “active” when you have to do a little more than sit at your desk? When was the last time you chose to go for a walk with no other motive than to walk?
The problem is that when we allow ourselves to get away with not being honest, we don't see the slow degradation to our quality of life. It is always happening as we age. Sometimes life gets too greedy and hits us with an injury or health scare that shakes us awake. But so many of us simply allow that slow degradation to proceed unchallenged as we while away the best days of our lives on the couch or behind a desk.
Don't. Get up. Go outside. Lift something heavy on purpose. Walk or run a mile on purpose. Eat meat and fruit and vegetables. Spend time in the sun on purpose. Rage! Rage against the dying of the light!

Primary workout from today. Front squats building to a heavy set of 3, followed by a metcon of assault bike and thrusters......🤢......🤮 In actuality this was a great workout and I really enjoyed it, despite hating thrusters.

I hate running but I actually enjoyed this workout. Shout out to Set me up nicely for turkey day tomorrow! I am so grateful for the community I have found and that I am in good health and able to push my body! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This was a long week. So nothing crazy today. Just moving some heavy weight and working on my core stability. Might go for a run later......😂
