Coaches: All games are on as scheduled tonight for the U12 and Adult League playoffs. The facility will open at 5:15 PM.

Please note that parking may be limited due to students working out and basketball/volleyball games. You may need to park behind the baseball stadium or just past the bus stop and walk back to the facility.

All U10 playoff games have been moved to Friday night (tomorrow) at 5:30 PM. Doors will also unlock at 5:15 PM.

Please share the attached photos with your teams and fans. Liberty has cleared the snow and ice by the bus stop, which is the main drop-off area for the fitness center. As shown in the photos, there is a clear path through the bus stop area into the Thomas Indoor Soccer Center.

Please do not use the sidewalk next to the ADA parking area, as it is completely covered with ice and unsafe.

Liberty University has moved both the Hockey game and Men’s Basketball game on Saturday from 7:00 PM to 1:00 PM. As a result, we are expecting an additional 5-6000 people on campus between 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

🚗 Saturday Parking & Traffic Impact
If your game is after 12:00 PM on Saturday, please plan for:

An additional 30 minutes to enter the facility and find parking

Hockey fans arriving between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM

We cannot monitor the parking lots during this time

The only controls we have in place are signs and barricades

Additional parking options include:

Behind the baseball stadium

The lot just past the bus stop when driving toward the baseball stadium

Please plan ahead for increased traffic and parking challenges.

🏀 Basketball Saturday (Back Gyms)
There is a youth basketball tournament on Saturday only in the back gyms.

• The Basketball Teams and fans should enter through the front of the LaHaye Fitness Center and they are supposed to park in the garage or in the spots near the front entrance
• The parking lot next to the bus stop will be blocked off for all 8am soccer Mania games, as it was last Saturday (see picture below)
• This lot will NOT open until 8:30 AM for the 9:00 AM games

🚫 PLEASE DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES OR CONES prior to arrival for the 8:00 AM games.

📋 Rule Update (Effective Immediately)
We are updating one rule for the remainder of the season:

If an official is hit by the ball, instead of awarding a free kick to the team that hit the official, play will restart with a drop ball for the team that had possession.
• The defensive team must be approximately 2 yards away
• The official will drop the ball, and play will resume

🚗 LU Students Returning to Campus
Liberty students will be returning Friday–Sunday to move back into the dorms. As a result, the LaHaye Fitness Center will be very busy, and parking lots will be heavily used.

Please plan ahead for increased traffic and parking challenges moving forward.

PARKING LOT NEXT TO BUS STOP-WILL OPEN FOR 9AM GAMES SATURDAY

This parking lot will open for the 9 AM games! Please park outside of this designated lot for all 8 AM games.

Please be aware that there is a volleyball tournament today and tomorrow at the LaHaye Fitness Center. We blocked off parking last night and secured it again this morning for our Soccer group.
Parking will be first come, first serve, and there is additional parking available behind the bus stop.
Our hope is the volleyball parents do not move the barriers and park in the reserved area next to the bus stop. Unfortunately, we talked to university events yesterday and they did not have it on the Master calendar so we had no advance warning that this was happening in order to notify you earlier.

We were notified Friday night at 9:00 PM that there would be a volleyball tournament taking place all day today at the Lahaye Fitness Center.

The parking lot behind the bus stop will be protected, and the parking lot next to the bus stop will also be protected parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we are unable to provide parking attendants at this time.

We wanted to let you know that games will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday. The 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM games will be rescheduled and made up at a later date.

There is a soccer ID clinic at the Indoor Football Fields Friday and Saturday so there will be about 60-70 additional cars in the lot both days. We will cone off the two lots we usually use for soccer, but we will not have parking attendants.
FRIDAY: THEY WILL BE AT THE INDOOR FOOTBALL FIELD FROM 6PM TO 8PM
SATURDAY: THEY WILL HAVE EVENTS FROM 8AM TO 3;30 PM. WE WILL HAVE OUR TWO LOTS CLOSED UNTIL 10AM ON SATURDAY. IF YOU HAVE A GAME THAT STARTS AT 8,9 OR 10 PLEASE PARK IN THE SPOTS OUTSIDE THE CONED OFF/BARRICADED AREA. WE WILL OPEN THESE LOTS AFTER THE 10AM GAMES START. PLEASE TELL YOUR TEAMS NOT TO MOVE CONES OR BARRICADES. OUR STAFF WILL MOVE THEM AT 10AM.
