Hey, everyone!!! Tonight is the first night of the weekly Gaming Club meetings!! Come out for announcements, games, and community at 6:30pm on the 4th floor of Demoss.

Announcements will be in Room 4326 at the start, League/PC Games will be in Room 4410, and Smash will be in Room 4272. Bring your own equipment, and have some fun! For anyone who is interested, I'm sure a group will go grab food afterwards around 9ish.

As a side note, we won't have extra projectors tonight due to reservation issues, but we will starting next week.

Hey, Students! Tonight is our weekly club meeting at 6:30pm in Demoss room 4326, and as a reminder, it will be Hearthstone themed! The Smash and PC room will run as normal, but the main room will have a bunch of Hearthstone stuff, and I'll be there playing!

Thankfully, Tespa no longer requires Facebook event pages, so I will have a sign-in sheet in the main room. If you're there tonight, please sign in! I'll only be doing these sign-ins when we have a Tespa package, and the more people who sign in, the more stuff they send us!

Also, if you received an email from me that you won the block party or club fair giveaway, you can pick it up tonight.

We have events today and tomorrow! If you're interested in esports, we will be having registration tonight from 5-10pm at a table in Montview by the glass elevator and tomorrow at noon-5pm in Montview on the other side.

Our first club meeting is tomorrow night at 6:30pm! We will be in Demoss room 4326 and we will have Smash in room 4152 and PCs in room 4410.

Hey everyone! The Gaming Club is working with Homeward Studios in order to provide career opportunities! Here is an announcement from them:

Interested in Game Design and/or Team Management? Want to get industry experience?

Some context: My name is Nate Barber. I am an LU student, employee, and former club Vice President. I founded my own Game Studio, and we are working on our first big multi-year project. We have a current team of 12 LU Students, Alumni, and employees who are developers, artists, writers, musicians, and managers (The studio is not affiliated/working with LU).

We need a Project Manager to join our team, someone who can utilize management, organization, and research skills to complete tasks and accomplish goals in a timely manner.

Homeward Studios is an officially registered LLC in the state of Virginia. Our current project is designed to give our team members industry experience and the opportunity to work in a team-development environment. We are a startup company, and our current project is one of passion.

While we are not able to pay (at least until the game generates revenue), our current team members still happily work on the project because 1) it is a project we are passionate about and we all want to see it completed, and 2) the opportunity and experience we are gaining is moving us forward in our careers. We are looking for people who will share the same passion and commitment to the project, and hope you will consider applying at the link below.

Hey everyone! I just received room confirmation for our weekly club meetings! There will be no club this week as everyone is getting settled in, but we will be starting up August 29th at 6:30pm!!! Same floor in Demoss as last year, but slightly different room numbers:

Demoss 4326 will be our usual main room for announcements and general gaming and board games
Demoss 4410 will be our usual PC/League of Legends room
Demoss 4152 will be our Smash room. Unfortunately, it's on the opposite side of the 4th floor, but I could not get approval for the usual Smash room.

I look forward to seeing everyone this year!! Make sure to bring consoles, laptops, board games, or whatever you need to play! I can reserve additional rooms for RPG groups, so please reach out to either me if you want an additional room.
