All students interested in auditioning must attend the Audition Workshop on Tuesday August 18. The musical 9 to 5 Jr. will be the show that we will take to the Junior Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, GA during January 14 - 18, 2027.
Due to all of the working parts of taking the production to JTF we will have a MANDATORY parent meeting AFTER the Audition Workshop on Tuesday August 18. It will begin at 5:30 and we will explain more about this production, what exactly JTF is and what it entails, and also the travel costs involved.
All other productions will be performed at Dunbar Middle School only.
All students interested in auditioning must attend the Audition Workshop on Tuesday August 18 from 2:30-5:30pm.
- In this workshop an audition song will be taught; students will learn choreography for the audition; and will be given a monologue to work on for the audition.
- This is an important opportunity for students to become prepared for the audition, so that they are confident and will audition to the best of their ability.
- Students will choose either Wednesday or Thursday to stay after school to audition. They will sign up for a time slot on either day. Students must stay after school until their audition time slot has been completed and they are released.
**An activity bus will be available to students who need transportation home after the audition is over at 5:30 p.m.
