Phi Delta Theta (ΦΔΘ), also known as Phi Delt, is an international fraternity founded at Miami University in 1848 and headquartered in Oxford, Ohio. The Virginia Theta Chapter was formed in the early 1990s and was finally brought on campus in 1993. Phi Delta Theta, along with Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Delta, are considered to be the beginning of Greek Life at Lynchburg College as we know it today.

The brothers will be participating in the Won Nation Dance Marathon this Saturday, November 11 from 3 pm until 3 am the following morning in the ballroom. We encourage all of you to come and support this event for a great cause, and if you can't be there in person you can also donate to the dance marathon through the link attached to this post. All proceeds collected for this event will benefit the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

The Virginia Theta chapter of Phi Delta Theta condemns the recent hazing activities by the brothers of the LSU chapter of Phi Delta Theta Louisiana Beta. We mourn the loss of Maxwell Gruver and we will keep his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers in this hard time. We are confident that the investigation into this matter by Phi Delta Theta GHQ and the LSU administration will be conducted thoroughly and the individuals involved in the incident will be held accountable. The Virginia Theta chapter of Phi Delta Theta is committed to the policies set forth by the Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters and by our institution, Lynchburg College. We stand firm in our Cardinal Principles of friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude and we strive to represent promote these principles within our community.
