What a powerful reminder that the Gospel is for everyone.
In the last Convo before Spring Break, Pastor Ed Newton took a moment to recognize and honor the ASL signing community, our Deaf students, faculty, and ASL interpreting students.

Did you know that Deaf people are considered one of the most unreached people groups in the world? Millions have little to no access to the Gospel in their heart language, sign language.

Together, these statistics tell the reality faced by many autistic students. Autistic individuals are part of our classrooms, communities, and workplaces, yet many face barriers to graduating from college and finding meaningful employment that others may never see.

Understanding these statistics helps us ask better questions about how campuses, communities, and workplaces can intentionally create spaces where neurodivergent individuals thrive. These statistics tell a bigger story about the importance of belonging, opportunities, support systems, and ultimately acceptance.
