Well, it's that time of year again when our children are commercialized and overwhelmed with the idea of Christmas toys and so much more. For parents who have a hard time saying "no," just practice saying it another way. Here are some examples:
Not at this time.
I am sure that you do not need that.
That could be a good birthday present.
Looks like something that you could work and save up for.
