The prepared environment is at the heart of Montessori.

Our guides have spent this week cleaning, painting, organizing, and refreshing every classroom to create a beautiful, welcoming space where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Every detail is prepared with purpose, because the environment is a child’s first teacher.

While our classrooms are quieter in July, there is still plenty of work happening behind the scenes! We like to think of July as our Improvement Month—a time to refresh, repair, clean, organize, and prepare every space with intention before welcoming our children back.

From fresh coats of paint to classroom updates and playground improvements, every project is completed with one goal in mind: creating a beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared environment where children can thrive.

We can’t wait to share all of the exciting improvements with our school community. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time and talents to help us get ready for another wonderful year!

Sliding into summer!

Hands in water, curious minds at work. Through outdoor exploration, children build concentration, problem-solving skills, and a deeper connection to the natural world. In a Montessori environment, simple experiences—pouring, observing, experimenting, and collaborating—become meaningful opportunities for learning.

We believe some of the richest lessons happen outside, where children are free to explore with wonder, independence, and joy.
