It’s pizza time! Starting today and for the next 4 weeks, we’re selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits and Meal Deal Codes to raise money for the Lyman Elementary PTC!

📼 Staff Appreciation Week Day 5 Recap — TGIF! 🍕

That’s a wrap on Staff Appreciation Week at Lyman Elementary… but let’s be real... we never stop appreciating our totally awesome staff! 💜

Today the staff wrapped up the week with the ultimate 90’s classic… a Pizza Party! 🍕 A HUGE thank you to OTTO for donating lunch today. The staff absolutely loves your pizza!

And seriously… what’s a 90’s pizza party without Dunkaroos?! The staff was treated to homemade Dunkaroos from The Blushing Hen, and gluten-free Dunkaroos from The Wheatless Whisk for our gluten-sensitive staff members! We also had delicious tiramisu donated by the Salvas family. So many sweet treats this week!

One of the biggest hits of the week was our “Guess the Staff: 90’s Edition” game! 📸 Staff members submitted photos of themselves from the 90’s along with their favorite 90’s memories, and the pictures were displayed in the teachers room for everyone to guess who was who.

Let’s just say… it got tricky with all those adorable baby photos- especially since some of our staff members were actually born in the 90’s! 😂

We ended up with TWO staff members who guessed every single one correctly: Mrs. McKinley and Mrs. Morales-Yim! Which meant there was only one way to settle it… ✋✌️✊ ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!

Congratulations to Mrs. Morales-Yim for taking the win! 🏆 You’ve earned ultimate bragging rights AND a lunch of your choice paid for and delivered by the PTC!

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, planned, decorated, delivered, and helped make this week so special for our staff.

And finally- thank you to all of the incredible teachers and staff at Lyman Elementary who go above and beyond every single day for our students. 💛

You are appreciated more than a fresh pack of Lisa Frank stickers and a Friday night at Blockbuster. 😉

Day 4 of Staff Appreciation Week was SWEET!

Today was Sweet Treats Day, and we definitely delivered the sugar rush! 🍪 Our amazing staff got a mid morning pick me up from Belles Coffee trailer with her delicious handcrafted drinks that were an absolute hit! A HUGE thank you to the Waterboro Eagles for sponsoring this special treat for our staff -the teachers were so grateful! 💚

The teachers room was packed with goodies galore... cookies, cupcakes, monkey bread, puff pastries, chocolates, chips, fruit and veggie platters, and so much more! We also brought back some iconic 90’s favorites like Dunkaroos, Gushers, Cosmic Brownies, Starburst, and Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies for a little nostalgic fun. ✌️

We also had amazing gluten-free treats from the Wheatless Whisk, which were a huge hit with our staff members with food sensitivities!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated items and helped make today extra sweet for the incredible staff at Lyman Elementary. We appreciate all you do more than words can say! 💚

📼 Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 3 Recap!

Day 3 was basically the staff room version of a 90’s game show and we are HERE for it 😎

Today, Moe’s Italian Sandwiches -came down and treated our teachers to an awesome lunch!

BUT WAIT… there’s more!

Teachers also got to test their luck with our nostalgic Price is Right- PLINKO game 🎯 where staff had the chance to win some great gift cards!

And because every great 90’s episode ends with dessert… staff also enjoyed delicious whoopie pies from The Blushing Hen and the Wheatless Whisk!

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. This week has been da bomb dot com!

🌮Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 2 Recap!

Day 2 came in HOT… and delicious!

Today our amazing staff got to celebrate with a totally tasty Taco Tuesday / Walking Taco Bar 🌮because nothing says appreciation like cheese, tacos, and zero lunch packing!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated supplies, helped set up, and made today possible!

Our teachers deserve all the love this week (and maybe unlimited sour cream too!)

Stay tuned because this week is still more loaded than a Blockbuster checkout on a Friday night 📼🍿

Happy School Principal’s Day, Mrs. Pellerin!

From being duct taped to a wall to bravely eating insects (yes… insects!), there’s truly nothing you wouldn’t do for your students. Your willingness to go above and beyond- no matter how silly or out-of-the-box, shows just how much you care about making school a fun, supportive, and memorable place for everyone.

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week, and we’re going Full 90s! From grunge to girl power, we’re celebrating our "All-Star" staff with a total throwback.
