Band Parents and Students:

We are going to have a Car Wash THIS Saturday, June 22 at Slym’s Barbecue on Hwy 46 in Lyles. It’s next to Tidwell Tires near the intersection of Hwy 46 and Church Road.
Time is 11am-2pm
We need as many band students and parents as are able to come. We also could use some help getting the word out to come support us.

Band students and parents who are interested in attending this event, please contact me or booster officers and let us know. We will reserve a spot for you. We will be purchasing the tickets together at a group rate so I don’t have the exact price yet. It will be most likely $30-35/ticket. Let me know if you have any questions. Please let us know by June 1.

Good afternoon!

Our school system will be hosting a training session for any organizations that wish to be recognized by our schools as school support organizations. The training will cover the practices that are required and expected for school support organizations by the Comptroller of the State of Tennessee and the school system.

The presidents and treasurers of each school support organization are required to participate in training in order for their organizations to be recognized and request fundraisers and activities.

The training will be facilitated by Mike Elkins and Michael Beem and will be held on the following date:

Monday, November 1, 2021
HCHS Library
1645 Bulldog Blvd., Centerville, TN 37033
4:30-6:00 p.m.

Please be sure to make your coaches and organizations aware of this time and date. Thank you so much for your help!

Just found out that this Friday’s high school game has been canceled due to COVID. We will have practice at the normal weekday time. 3:30-5:30 pm. Everyone stay safe, take necessary precautions to prevent spread. Car wash is still on as well!

We will be having band practice on NEXT Friday, August 6 after school until 5:30. Please make plans to be there. Also, don’t forget our first after school rehearsal on Thursday, August 5 also until 5:30. I can’t wait to get our band year started! See you then!

East Hickman Marching Eagles Band Camp 2021 Update:

Parents: We have been having a great week. The students have been working really hard and doing a great job at learning their music and marching drill. We will be giving an end of camp performance this Friday, July 23 at 5:00 p.m. We hope you will be able to join us as we perform for the first time of the season. Students will be able to leave after the performance. Thanks for getting your children to and from camp. Make sure you get a schedule of Fall events as well if you do not have one yet. See you Friday!
