Our Electrical Construction Technology and Mechatronics Technology students from the Hazleton Campus recently visited Henkel Manufacturing to see firsthand how their skills are used in a manufacturing environment.

Last week, Johnson College welcomed 60 students each day for two days of STEM, leadership, and hands-on learning! 🚀

As a host location for the Chief Science Officer Program, hosted by NEIU 19 (IU19), students explored STEM careers, strengthened leadership skills, and connected with STEM professionals from fields including chemistry, manufacturing, electrical construction, and environmental education.

Representatives from the Moses Taylor Foundation's staff and board of directors visited Johnson College earlier this week to discuss the impact of Foundation grants to Johnson College over the past several years.

During their visit, team members toured the Biomedical Equipment Technology laboratory, Medical Assistant Training Laboratory, and Radiologic Technology training laboratory. They had the opportunity to speak with program directors about the grants’ impact, training trends, industry partner needs, and how we are working together to address critical healthcare workforce shortages across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Johnson College is grateful for our longtime partnership with the Moses Taylor Foundation and the collaborative work we do to prepare students for high demand careers in healthcare and help meet the needs of our region’s workforce.
