Campers extended their Around the World stay in Peru. We talked about Peru is twice the size of Texas, the Capital is Lima, and 60% of their Christians are Roman Catholic. Peru is located in South America (which we found on the globe). We also learned about the Rainbow Mountain "Vilicunca". Then we did our Peruvian Gourd Art project, which has been a tradition practiced for more than 4,000 years and is an ancient storytelling heritage passed down from generation to generation. We hope you enjoy our art.
