Recapping on a great week 2 and the great start we’ve had to the summer circuit! We had lots of fun and lots of great rides!
🥈Inspiration and Clair Kellner were reserve in the USHJA 2’6
🥈Abby Tuleen and Frosted Flakes finished reserve in the medium greens
🥈Avery Williams and Daddy Doesn’t Know were reserve champion in the small/ medium children’s pony
🥉Clair Kellner and Caligua were 3rd overall in the USHJA Regional Championship derby!
🥈Kayla Scherer and California Prima Z were second in the 1.10m Amateurs
🤩Cole Batershall had great rounds on both Dsh Devoted and Cannoli
🤩Top Fibonacci had great rounds in the low adults with Hailey DeBrunner and in the Baby greens with Clair!
🤩Sienna Zorilla and lil bit better had great consistent rounds in the medium ponies
🤩Chocolate Chunk and Addy Lista had such great rounds in the short stirrup!

Some highlights of the circuit include:
Week 2-
🥳Caligua and Clair Kellner were champion in the 3’6 performance. This pair was also 2nd in the 15,000 USHJA national hunter derby.

Week 5-
🎉Table Talk HD and Isla Paone were reserve champion in the Large Children’s pony.
🎉Heaven Sent and Clair Kellner were reserve champion in the 2’6 ushja. Sox Appeal and Clair Kellner ribboned in ushja 2’6” out of 60!!
🎉Chatoyer and Debi Hartland won a class in the long stirrup.

Week 7-
👏Caligua and Clair Kellner were champion in the 3’6 performance.
👏Frosted Flakes and Abby Tuleen were champion in the medium greens.
👏Shenandoah Tapestry and Estella Carrion won a class in the low children’s pony.

Week 9-
🥳Caligua and Clair Kellner were reserve in the 3’6 performance. This pair was also 3rd in the $15,000 USHJA national hunter derby.
🥳Frosted Flakes and Abby Tuleen won a class in the medium greens.
🥳Royally Blonde and Clair Kellner won a class in the future hunters.
🥳Heaven Sent and Clair Kellner were champion in the 2’6 ushja, Sox Appeal ribboned in most 2’6” ushja classes out if 56!
🥳Unmistakable and Clair Kellner were reserve champion in the 2’6 ushja.
🥳Shenandoah Tapestry and Estella Carrion won a class in the low children’s pony.
🥳Chocolate Chunk and Addy Lista were champion in the short stirrup equitation.

Week 11-
🎉Daddy Doesn’t Know and Avery Williams won a class in the medium children’s pony.
🎉24k Magic and Clair Kellner were reserve in the 3’3 performance.
🎉Royally Blonde and Clair Kellner were reserve in the 2’ ushja and won a class in the future hunters.
🎉Heaven Sent and Clair Kellner were champion in the 2’6 ushja, Sox Appeal and Clair were 2nd out if 50 in ushja 2’6”
🎉Royally Blonde and Avery Williams won a class in the low children’s pony.
🎉Chocolate Chunk and Addy Lista won some classes in the short stirrup.

Week 12-
👏Caligua and Clair Kellner were champion in the 3’6 performance. This pair was also 8th in the $75,000 USHJA national hunter derby.
👏Frosted Flakes and Abby Tuleen won a class in the medium greens.
👏Chatoyer and Clair Kellner won a class in the 2’9 ushja.
👏Chatoyer and Debi Hartland were champion in the long stirrup equitation.
👏Heaven Sent and Wendy Shell were 12th in the adult derby.

💛 Lots of ribbons in Short/Long Stirrup Equitation and Short Stirrup Hunter Divisions

Addisyn had a fabulous time at World Equestrian Center during Winter Spectacular week. Along with Chocolate Chunk, the pair secured many ribbons in both the hunter and equitation ring among a very competitive Short/Long Stirruper group, including the Champion for Short/Long Stirrup Equitation and a 9th place in a big Classic field. Congratulations, Addisyn!

⭐️Caligua and Suzanne Cayatte had great trips in the adults!

⭐️24k Magic and Mary McNeel had great trips in the Amateur Owners!

⭐️DSH Devoted and Cole Battershall had great trips in the Amateur Jumpers. Always fun getting to watch this pair!

⭐️Dahlia Ff and Karen Jones showed off in the long stirrup. We are all so proud of Karen for her hard work! Clair Kellner also rode Dahlia Ff to some good ribbons in the USHJA 2’3!

⭐️Sox Appeal and Clair Kellner enjoyed their trips in the 2’6 USHJA.

⭐️Vianna Grey and Estella Carrion brought home some great ribbons in the low children’s pony’

⭐️Lil Bit Better and Sienna Zorrilla won a class in the children’s pony! We are so proud of how far this pair has come in such a short amount of time!

⭐️Royally Blonde and Clair Kellner had great trips in the USHJA 2’3.

⭐️As You Wish and Sienna Zorrilla had great trips in the Small Ponies as well as the Pony Derby!

⭐️Heaven Sent and Wendy Shell had great trips in the Low Adults. Clair Kellner also rode Heaven Sent to great trips in the USHJA 2’6!

⭐️Chatoyer and Debi Hartland made big improvements in the Long Stirrup. Clair Kellner also rode Chatoyer to great trips in the Greens!

⭐️Picasso Moon and Hannah Elinsky had great trips in the Low Adults!

⭐️Unmistakable and Hailey DeBrunner had great trips in the Low Adult Equitation!

⭐️Captain Maverick and Isla Paone had great trips in the Low Children’s. Clair Kellner also rode Captain Maverick to great trips in the USHJA 2’6!

Well, Riley and all her horsey trainees are in Kentucky for 3 weeks! The second week of Kentucky with everyone, Pony Finals with Avery Williams and Misty and International Hunter Derby with Caligua!

We had a great weekend at Venice honoring our great barn buddy and friend Chris Wright

So many fun classes offered at CFHJA this week. Thankful we get to participate! Good job Cal and Clair!

Riley worked overtime training her champions this week at Fox Lea Farm.

💛 Kingsmeade Farm and the CFHJA community are honored to pay respect to our dear friend Chris Wright with this Grand Prix to be held on Mother’s Day during our May show. Chris was a long time member of our horse show family, an extraordinary woman who is deeply missed 💛

Please join us Sunday, May 12th at Fox Lea Farm for the Chris Wright Memorial Grand Prix, which will start the day in the Grand Prix arena tentatively at 9am.

Back home at Fox Lea Farm! Our first show here was in 1985😂
