🥚 Egg-citing science in action! 🐥

Ms. Heidi’s Environmental Science class recently incubated 11 eggs, learning firsthand about biological life cycles and ecological control!

By carefully regulating microclimates (temp & humidity levels) and candling the eggs on Days 7 and 14 to monitor development, 10 made it to "lockdown" on Day 18. Now, our newly hatched chicks are staying warm in their classroom brooder tub for the next 8 weeks before moving to their outdoor coop! 🌾✨

Hands-on learning, scientific observation, and chicken stewardship all in one! We are hoping to get a larger chicken run and night house to fit our growing flock. If you'd like to donate, check the link below!
