A very talented classical pianist visited our boutique piano showroom recently. She and her husband flew from MD to FL to begin searching for her forever piano after they move to AZ in the next year. We thank her for writing this google review describing her visit to our showroom:
A Rare Treasure in the World of Fine Pianos.
Walking into Picarzo Pianos is like stepping into a hidden sanctuary where music lives in its most exquisite form. From the moment you enter, you're surrounded by an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming—an echo of craftsmanship, passion, and care. But more than the space itself, it is Michael Pratt who brings this place to life.
Mike is not just a seller of pianos—he is a curator of beauty, a steward of tone and soul. Every piano in his collection is a work of art, lovingly selected and meticulously refinished to a level that truly takes your breath away. The pianos he offers are not merely restored—they are reborn. Each instrument gleams with a state-of-the-art finish, yet hums with the warmth and integrity of timeless craftsmanship.
The variety is astounding. Whether you are searching for a Steinway, Bösendorfer, C. Bechstein or a Yamaha, Mike’s collection spans the great lineage of European piano-making. And each one sings with character—no two the same, and all deeply enchanting.
What makes the experience unforgettable, however, is Mike himself. He is the embodiment of grace and accommodation. There is no pressure, no pretension—just deep dedication, kindness, and a true desire to help you find the piano that’s right for your hands and your heart. Every question is met with patience, every concern with a thoughtful solution. You don’t feel like a customer; you feel like a guest of honor.
His showroom is immaculate—a five-star presentation space that respects both the instruments and the people who come to find them. Whether you're a concert pianist, a lifelong enthusiast, or someone searching for the piano that will begin a new chapter, Mike meets you where you are and guides you with warmth and integrity.
It is rare in this world to find someone so deeply aligned with their purpose. Mike and Picarzo Pianos are exactly that—a place where music is respected, beauty is preserved, and every detail is considered with care.
My time at Picarzo’s was an extraordinary encounter with beauty. I was immersed in a symphony of voices—each piano speaking in its own language of tone and timbre, inviting me into moments of stillness, curiosity, and awe. It felt less like trying instruments and more like being gently ushered through a gallery of living music, where each note shimmered with its own story. This was not merely a visit—it was an experience of grace, harmony, and inspiration. A place where sound breathes, and where one is reminded of what art can awaken in the heart.
Highly, wholeheartedly, and joyfully recommended.

Congratulations to Mr. J.G. of Little Neck, NY for purchasing a C Bechstein 7'2" grand piano originally made in the 19th century (1899), and restored by Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com). Many thanks for the very kind and much appreciated words about our pianos and your experience in purchasing this piano from Picarzo:
"I recently purchased a magnificent C. Bechstein grand piano from Picarzo Pianos and am THRILLED to own this instrument. I flew from NYC where I live down to Tampa Bay FL to try out this piano because I fell in love with it when I watched a demo video of it online.
Mike Pratt, the owner of Picarzo Pianos, made this a delightfully easy experience for me. He is extremely knowledgable about pianos and very pleasant to talk with. He was happy to allow me as much time as I wanted to play the piano and welcomed the fact that I hired a local piano technician to examine the piano. He put zero pressure on me to buy this piano.
While I was there I also tried several other pianos in his showroom, just for fun, and I was very impressed with the high quality of all his pianos. Mike clearly takes great pride in the quality of all the pianos he sells and he apparently only sells Best in Class pianos - that is, I tried a Steinway Model M which was the best sounding Steinway Model M that I've ever played; I tried a Steinway Model L which was probably the best sounding Steinway Model L that I've ever played; I tried a beautiful Yamaha grand and a couple of other pianos - all of them were shining examples of their respective makes and models.
Mike also sells more affordable pianos but you can be sure that they are all Best in Class in their price range. The prices of his pianos are quite reasonable considering the high standards that he insists on for all the pianos that he sells. In short, if you are in the market for a piano, I HIGHLY recommend Picarzo Pianos!"

Congratulations to Mr. K.T. of Babcock Ranch, FL on purchasing this very rare Steinway model A 6'4" grand piano from Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com). And thank you for the very kind and much appreciated words about our company and passion for pianos:
"I found Mike at Picarzo Pianos after a fairly long search for dealers of used grand pianos.
"Prior to finding them, I was overwhelmed with inadequate descriptions of the state of the pianos, a wide range of prices, and little comfort around whether I'd be getting a piano that was falling apart or pristine condition. Picarzo Pianos was a breath of fresh air and the polar opposite. Every piano on their website is:
- Photographed in detail from all angles
- Demonstrated and toured via video
- Thoroughly optimized and prepped by a master technician
- Documented and described very precisely with respect to their condition
"The work they put into this had me quite confident before even seeing the piano (a fully rebuilt walnut Steinway A3) that it was what I was looking for. Seeing the piano in person only further confirmed it - it might as well have been a brand new piano. Mike was even happy to give me a little privacy to try a few of the pianos (I have a bit of stage fright!).
"As soon as you start talking to Mike, it's clear that he has a deep passion for his craft and that this is the case for every piano in his showroom - he wants his pianos to be the best they can be and go to a home that will appreciate them and care for them. Mike was even kind enough to walk me through some of the important things to know as far as the differences and operation of a grand piano, as I had been playing on a Yamaha U3 upright up to this point.
"I'd recommend Picarzo Pianos to anyone in the market. If I ever need another piano for a different house (I'll be hanging onto this one for life), I'd be going right back to them for my second."

Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com) thanks Mr. S.L. of Sun City Center for the very kind Google review after purchasing our Picarzo PDP-201 digital piano for his wife's Christmas present: "If you are anything like me, customer service, ranks extremely high in my decision making. While searching for a digital piano for my wife I was inundated with the options and how many choices there were.
"I visited Costco at the time they had a large selection of Yamaha digital pianos on the floor with a “salesman” there. While looking at the features of each one and trying to get the attention of the salesman, that was extremely engrossed in whomever he was texting, I ended up walking away. That is when my search for a local business began, and was I ever thankful it had.
"I found Picarzo Piano in Lutz, Florida that was only about a 40 minute drive. I noticed on their website that you could call or text. I texted Mike Pratt asking about the dimensions of the Picarzo PDP-201, and if it could be disassembled to fit into the bed of my truck. I was very pleased that not only did he respond within minutes, but included a picture of the box it came in.
"I arranged to pick up my new digital piano and to meet Mike in person. His customer service is absolutely Top Notch. Mike’s knowledge and passion for pianos becomes apparent from the moment you speak to him.
"I would like to point out that his showroom has some of the finest grand pianos you can imagine that costs tens of thousands of dollars and I was there to purchase a digital piano for under $1,000, yet he made me feel appreciated and valued, as if I were there to purchase a Steinway.
"Mike spent time going over all the features and then when the purchase had been completed, loaded the piano into the back of the truck.
"When I returned home I assembled the piano in about 10 minutes carefully following the included instructions and had watched the video Mike posted on their web site. The sound, weighted keys, and quality feel like you are playing a high-end piano. I would double the 5-star rating if possible to reflect the customer experience, quality of the Picarzo PDP-201 Digital Piano,, features, ease of assembly, and appearance. Oh, I also need to mention that they also offered to provide a $500 credit towards the trade-in towards an acoustic piano. Thanks Mike!"

🎹💕 Congratulations to Mr. C.C. of Eastsound, WA on purchasing a(nother) lovely Steinway piano from Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com), We hope you enjoy playing on this lovely 1925 Steinway L grand piano. And many thanks for your kind words! "This is our second piano purchase from Mike at Picarzo Pianos. While we were living in California, we bought a Steinway K52 from Mike at Picarzo Pianos some years ago and it was a great experience. The piano was immaculate, and the interactions with Mike were painless, friendly, and efficient. We knew then, that if we ever had an opportunity to purchase another piano we would buy it from Picarzo Pianos.
We recently moved into a larger house in Washington state, and we finally had room for a larger piano. We purchased a gorgeous 1925 mahogany Steinway L that was fully restored, and plays like a dream. Moreover, since we had purchased the K52 from Mike, we were able to trade it in against the purchase price for the Steinway L as part of Picarzo’s trade up program (which worked out great). The piano arrived and looked and played as expected - amazing. The piano also came with a new Jansen bench that was unfortunately damaged during shipping. Mike immediately reached out to Jansen to have a new bench built and sent to us. The entire process, as expected, was great. Picarzo provides quality products, at fair pricing, with outstanding customer service. And in the event we ever need to purchase another piano, we will do so from Picarzo. They have our highest recommendation. A++"🎹💕

🎶 💕 Congratulations to Mr. M.A. of Apollo Beach, FL on purchasing a lovely Bechstein piano from Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com), We hope you enjoy playing on this lovely piano. And many thanks for your kind words! "Not sure where to start to be honest. From the first call inquiring about the C. Bechstein Piano that was for sale until it got delivered to my home a couple weeks later, things could not have gone any better. Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process! He is extremely honest and he truly goes above and beyond for his customers. It was just a pleasure from start to finish. I have recommended Mike to many of my friends and he is now my go-to person for all my piano needs. I couldn't be any more excited to have this beautiful 7'7" C. Bechstein in my home and I thank Mike for providing me with an outstanding experience."

🎶 💕 Congratulations to Dr. M.R. of Hudsonville, MI on purchasing a lovely Kawai piano from Picarzo Pianos (www.picarzo.com), We hope you enjoy playing on this lovely piano. And many thanks for your kind words! "Picarzo is amazing! I have played piano at an intermediate to advanced level for my whole life, and I am not a person who would have even considered buying a piano that I had not played and seen in "real life". But when I decided to a get a 52 inch upright, I realized that there were few options available locally. I found my Kawai piano with Picarzo via an on line search (the known flat rate shipping cost convinced me the long-distance purchase wasn't completely crazy). Mike answered my phone call immediately and patiently talked to me in detail about what I was looking for and what he had available. I talked to him several more times as I considered my options, and each time he provided helpful and informed answers to my questions. He is clearly a person who loves the instruments that he sells and looks for the best match for each of them with the buyers. Once I decided on my purchase, Mike made the rest of the process super easy. He maintained consistent contact to keep me informed of the planned ship date, he sent photos of it carefully wrapped prior to shipping, and he updated me regularly on its progress from Florida to Michigan. In "real life", the piano is just as amazing as expected, and a beautiful addition to our home!! I cannot thank Mike enough for the super customer service that he offers. He not only helped me find the perfect instrument, but made the whole experience a pleasure in every way! I would definitely do business with him in the future and highly recommend him to others looking for a special piano for their home!"
