Lizzie F. ’28 recently attended the HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar as a HOBY Ambassador, joining 200 other high school sophomores from across Maryland.

During the four-day conference, students participated in educational and leadership experiences focused on personal and professional growth while engaging in hands-on activities designed to strengthen their leadership skills. Congratulations, Lizzie!

Congratulations to Kim Willard, English Department Chair, for being this year’s John K. and Moira A. Frost Faculty Recognition Award Recipient!

Ms. Willard will use this grant to support literacy outreach and student publications at Maryvale. Working alongside the English Department, she will transform the National English Honor Society from an honorary club into an active organization and launch a print literary arts magazine in partnership with the Visual and Performing Arts Departments.
