Know anyone? I am Head of School at an amazing place, and we are looking for Math and Science teachers to join the Fusion Columbia campus. (Baltimore area teachers are encouraged to apply.) Fusion is an alternative private school for grades 6-12 that offers a fully individualized classroom: one student, one teacher. Bachelor's Degree is required, as well as a higher-level Math and/or Science background. Teaching credentials are a plus but are not mandatory.

It has been great seeing everyone’s first day of school pictures. Kids smiling, filled with excitement and hope and possibilities, but please remember that for so many kids, the school experience can be incredibly painful. Each day these warriors enter into classrooms where they struggle. These remarkable kids have so much to teach us about resilience. All kids need our collective support, but those who struggle, the ones I am lucky enough to spend my time with, need support and patience and love right now. And while you’re at it, remember that parents send off these children each day and feel a pit of worry, hoping that their kids will experience peace and kindness during the day in school. They need some extra TLC too. ❤️
