What another Un-BEE-lievable GO GOLD WEEK at YDID this year!!🐝🎗️

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and the purpose of our annual Go Gold week is to help spread awareness for childhood cancer and raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We do this in loving memory of our former student and Dance Company member Bailee “Bee” Becnel.

This past weekend was St. Jude's Walk/Run in Baton Rouge and the funds raised by our studio were added to Bailee’s Brigade.

From the generous donations of our students and parents from 25¢ - $100 and many purchases of tattoos, headbands, glasses, ducks, bracelets, etc I’m so proud to say that our dance family collected $1,067.65 in just four days!

All students who turned in $10 or more were entered into a drawing for a free recital t-shirt. We'd like to congratulate EMMY BURNS!!!

This once again proves that we are a true DANCE FAMILY and we’d like to give thanks to everyone as we continue to have BAILEE'S BLUE CREW raise awareness annually. 💙
