This year, the Lutcher Bulldogs Swim Team fought their way to the State meet—not because the road was easy, but because they refused to give up.
This season came with its share of bumps in the road. There were tough practices, injuries, and setbacks. But in every challenge, these swimmers kept showing up - discipline and heart carried them forward when things got hard.
And when they stepped onto the pool deck at State, they did something powerful:
They proved they belonged there.
They swam with courage. They swam with pride. They supported one another through every heat, every relay, every moment of pressure. Even though they didn’t come home with the win, they came home with something just as important—growth, experience, and a deeper bond as a team.
Because championships aren’t only measured by medals. Sometimes, they’re measured by character. And this team showed character in every stroke they took.
To our families and community: Your support fueled them through every challenge, and your pride in them is something no scoreboard can measure.
To our swimmers: I am proud of each one of you. Our journey was not perfect, but you kept fighting anyway. You faced obstacles, you rose to the occasion, and you finished this season stronger than you started. I am so proud to be a Bulldog. Can’t wait until next year…
