We’re kicking off the new school year, and that means it’s time to **sign up for PAWS!** 💙💚
📣 **IMPORTANT:** We do **not** carry over email addresses from the previous school year, so **EVERYONE must sign up again**—even if you were a PAWS member last year!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Have more than one student at Dowell? Be sure to include **ALL of your students AND their teachers** when you sign up!

The class with the **highest percentage of valid parent/guardian emails signed up for PAWS** will win a **PIZZA PARTY!** 🎉🍕

📣 PAWS NEEDS YOU! 🐾💙💚

We’re looking for a few awesome volunteers this Friday from 1:00–3:00 PM to help us get Dowell ready for our students! 🎒✨

We’ll be:
📚 Sorting school supply kits
✏️ Working on Eraser Grams
🐾 Tackling other PAWS projects to get everything ready for Greet Your Seat on Monday!

If you’re available to lend a hand, we’d LOVE to have you! Every extra set of hands makes a difference. 💙

Today we greeted our amazing staff back with crates full of goodies and a fully stocked hydration bar!

We know today (and the days ahead!) will be filled with meetings, unpacking, organizing, decorating, planning, and running around getting those classrooms ready for our Huskies. We hope these little treats give you a boost along the way!

And We’ve hidden 198 tiny Mickey heads throughout the school! Staff members—keep your eyes peeled as you make your way around. Find as many as you can!

The staff member who finds the MOST Mickey heads wins a prize!

Tomorrow is the day! 📚✏️ We’re officially kicking off another school year, and we want to wish all of our amazing teachers and staff a wonderful first day back!

We hope your summer was filled with rest, fun, and plenty of memories. Now it’s time to get ready to fill those classrooms with learning, laughter, and a whole lot of Husky pride! 🐾💙💚

We’re are excited to meet our new Dean!!

Please join me in welcoming our new Dean, Kevin Jackson. Mr. Jackson was one of the teachers that opened Dowell in 1999. :) We cannot wait to get him started at the BEST SCHOOL in Calvert County!
