Auto Tech II Students are "Tired" - Auto Tech II Students begin the Brakes phase of Auto Technology by studying tires. Did you know that your tires are part of braking? If you don't have good grip on the road, it won't matter how good your brakes are. Correct tire pressure is important for braking and handling as well. We offer Nitrogen Fills for $25 and the process takes about 20 minutes on most cars. Nitrogen gives reliable inflation for better fuel mileage, handling, and stopping performance. Tonight, Thursday, October 8, 2026, is the regularly scheduled school board meeting. The meeting will be held at the Central Office Board Room and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Comments are due by 4 p.m. The meeting may also viewed LIVE on our YouTube channel.

We are incredibly proud of the growth happening across Page County Public Schools! All Page County Public Schools met state standards for full accreditation. Additionally, prior to the application of federal identification considerations, every PCPS school earned a framework score in the Meets Expectations or Distinguished performance categories. Our 2026–2027 School Performance and Support Framework results reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, staff, school leaders, families, and community. Every school in PCPS demonstrated growth, and that's worth celebrating.

These results are more than numbers. They represent stronger instruction, student progress, teamwork, perseverance, and a continued commitment to getting better every day.

Yesterday, Dr. Huber was able to start his week off working with Springfield Elementary School 2nd graders, and to see their teacher, Miss Dudley, in action. Her classroom was a hub of learning, where students not only worked hard on reading and spelling, but also on soft skills like words of affirmation and encouragement for their classmates. Dr. Huber stated, "It was a great way to start off the week. Amazing things are happing in Page County." Our superintendent is thoroughly enjoying being able to visit classrooms to witness all of the learning that is taking place.

Rudy's Mobile Unit

We are proud of our Welding students at Page County Technical Center! Students from both Year 1 and Year 2 worked together to fabricate a reverse flow smoker for Rudy’s Diner, then installed it on the diner’s mobile BBQ hut, ready to take the show on the road. It’s exciting to see the skills and teamwork our students practice in the shop come together in a project with a real purpose.

Thank you to Rudy’s Diner for partnering with our program and giving students the opportunity to contribute to a local business. We’re proud of everyone who helped bring this project from fabrication to installation—and can’t wait to see that smoker out on the road!
