WELCOMING TWO FAMILIAR FACES BACK TO MCCA!
We are excited to welcome Annemarie Hohne and Wendy Vucic back to the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy family for another school year!
Annemarie Hohne will be returning as our High School Guidance Counselor and will also be serving as a Substitute Teacher. We are thankful for the wisdom, encouragement, and care she brings to our students!
Wendy Vucic will be returning as a Middle and High School Teacher. We are grateful to have her back and look forward to the knowledge, experience, and Christ-centered influence she will bring to our students!
MEET ANNEMARIE HOHNE
Annemarie holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and completed her MBA with a Ministry focus in December 2025. She brings a unique perspective to this role, having homeschooled her three children for 14 years. She enjoys getting to know students and helping them navigate their interests and future educational pursuits, while encouraging them to follow the Lord faithfully in every area of their lives.
Annemarie and her husband, Jim, have been married for 24 years and made their home in Page County in the fall of 2024 after Jim’s 21 years of service in the U.S. Navy. The Hohne family worships and serves at Rileyville Baptist Church. In her free time, Annemarie enjoys exploring the beauty of Page County through hiking and spending time outdoors.
MEET WENDY VUCIC
I am so excited to be returning to Mt. Carmel Christian Academy this school year! K-12 Education has been my passion for nearly two decades, and I have loved serving in various roles across both public and private schools over the years. This year, I am stepping back into the classroom to teach our wonderful middle and high school students. I am truly looking forward to being an MCCA Warrior again and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us this year!
Please join us in welcoming both of these wonderful ladies back to MCCA! We are thankful for the opportunity to have them serving our school community and investing in the next generation.
