Miss Payton Gall is the recipient of the 2024 Long Branch PTA Scholarship.

Payton attended Long Branch for 5 years from Kindergarten to 4th Grade. She currently attends Fairmont High School. Her academic honors include: Fairmont High School Student of Excellence, FHS Chief Marshall, Beta Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Student Government. She has been the President of FFA, Junior Treasurer and National Honor Society Officer. She attended the FFA State Convention Food Science Competition.

While at FHS she played volleyball for four years, was a Cheerleader for 2 years, on the Bowling Team for two years. She has been an All-Star Cheerleader for 10 years. She was a Fairmont Homecoming Class Representative all four years, she was on the Junior Class Prom Committee and the 2022 Fairmont Farmer Festival 2nd Runner up.

She has also been involved with her community as VKidz Volunteer at Vertical Church, 2023 World Changers Mission Trip and has been involved in many school volunteer activities and volunteered with Mayor Kemp’s town clean-up day.

Payton plans to attend East Carolina University majoring in Interior Design.

Each school year, Long Branch Elementary PTA has the pleasure of presenting a $1,000 scholarship to one of our former Eagles. This year we are proud to announce the recipient as Nyiah Walker! Nyiah is a senior at Lumberton Senior High School and plans to attend The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in the Fall. Congrats Nyiah on your well deserved accomplishments!

Long Branch School and Long Branch PTA is proud to present our 2021-2022 Scholarship Recipient, Mr. Savonte McKeithan. Savonte will be graduating from Fairmont High with a current GPA of 3.98. Furthering his education at NC Wesleyan University majoring in Business Administration, where he will also play football. Congratulations Savonte!!!
