Robeson County Career Center The Robeson County Career Center at Hilly Branch was established for the purpose of offering students an opportunity to acquire basic technical skills.

The Robeson County Career Center curriculum includes Trade and Industrial Courses offered to the five area high schools for 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. The courses are Adobe Academy, Automotive, Computer Engineering, Construction, Drafting, Electrical Trades, HVAC, Law & Justice, Masonry, Network Engineering, Pharmacy Tech, Plumbing, EMT/Public Safety and Welding. These basic trade and indus

trial skills enable completers to go to work with a specialized skill after high school or place them in a favorable position to continue their post-secondary education.

Congratulations to Darreon Bullard, the 2026 William Anderson Memorial Scholarship recipient. Darreon graduated from Lumberton High School and was a student in our welding class this past year. He plans to enroll in the plumbing program at RCC with his ultimate goal being to start his own maintenance business.

Devin’s goal is to become a data center technician for Amazon, Microsoft or Oracle while earning an Associate Degree in IT and Technical Management and completing Bachelors and Masters degrees at ECU. EMT PINNING CEREMONY: Congratulations to Gracie O and Noah C, our EMT Cadets at the Robeson County Career Center, who have completed their coursework and will now pursue EMT certification. Special thanks to Ms Flora Gail Williams, the guest speaker for the Pinning ceremony. Noah will enter the military in hopes of becoming an Army medic. Gracie will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at UNCP. Congratulations to them both on a job well done!!! 🙌🏾🎉
