The mission of the LISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to Lumberton ISD to enrich and expand programs needed to meet the District's stated mission of excellence in education. With the current state of our economy, we are all aware that State budget cuts will certainly have a negative impact on all Texas schools for the foreseeable future. In support of our Mission and

Goals, the Foundation will supplement the needs of all Lumberton public schools through tax-deductable contributions made by generous donors. These donations will allow the Foundation to award “Innovative Education Grants” to LISD teachers and staff for projects that the District is otherwise unable to fund due to the shortage of tax dollars. These additional funds from the Foundation will provide increased support of the Lumberton Independent School District’s mission to provide students with the skills to become productive members of society.

✨ Today, several members of the Lumberton Education Foundation board had the privilege of attending the Lumberton ISD End-of-Year Convocation to announce and award 2026 teacher grants across the district! 🍎📚

This year, the Lumberton Education Foundation proudly awarded over $14,140 in teacher grants to support innovative classroom ideas, creative projects, and supplemental curriculum opportunities that will directly impact students throughout Lumberton ISD! ❤️

Thanks to the generosity of our community and fundraising efforts throughout the year — especially our annual “Tee It Up for Teachers” Golf Tournament ⛳ — we are able to invest directly into our teachers and classrooms.

Seeing these grants placed into the hands of passionate educators is truly one of the most rewarding moments of the year. From literacy initiatives and social-emotional learning projects to sensory supports and STEM-based innovation, these grants will positively impact hundreds of students across our district.

We are incredibly thankful for every sponsor, donor, golfer, volunteer, and supporter who helps make this possible. Your support allows teachers to dream bigger and create meaningful learning experiences for students across Lumberton ISD. ⭐
