CMS Parents & Families, help us start each morning safely, smoothly, and efficiently! Please review our car rider drop-off procedures before arriving on campus.

➡️ Enter campus from Bailey Road.
➡️ Follow the yellow arrows along the designated car rider route.
➡️ Continue to the breezeway for student drop-off.
🚫 NO car rider drop-off in the bus parking lot. This area must remain clear for buses and student safety.
🚗 Stay in the designated traffic lane and follow directions from CMS staff.
🎒 Have students ready to exit when you reach the designated drop-off area.
⚠️ Drive slowly and remain alert for students, staff, buses, and other vehicles.

📘 2026–2027 Student-Parent Handbook

Golden Knight Families,

Please take time to review the L. Gilbert Carroll Middle School 2026–2027 Student-Parent Handbook. The handbook contains important information about school procedures and expectations, including our bell schedule, arrival and dismissal, PRIDE behavior expectations, Student Code of Conduct, dress code, attendance, wireless communication devices, and other policies that will help us have a safe and successful school year.

We encourage parents/guardians to review the handbook with their student so everyone begins the year with a clear understanding of school expectations.

We are excited to welcome our Knights back to campus on Monday, August 24! Please review these important reminders as we prepare for a great first week:

🎒 First Day: Monday, August 24
🍳 No breakfast will be served on the first day.
🚗 Student Drop-Off: Begins at 7:30 AM
⏰ Student Day: 7:50 AM–3:00 PM
🚌 Transportation Reminder: If you made a transportation update during Open House, please bring your child to school Monday morning. We will make sure your child is placed on the appropriate bus that afternoon.
