ARE YOU READY TO PUSH YOURSELF TO THE LIMITS, TO USE THAT LAST LITTLE BIT OF ENERGY YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE YOUR TASK.

ARE YOU READY TO BECOME THE FIREFIGHTER THAT YOU WOULD WANT COMING TO RESCUE YOU IF YOU WERE THE VICTIM TRAPPED IN A BUILDING.

ALOT OF TRUTH IN THIS STATEMENT. WE RECEIVED THIS TODAY AS WELL.

That’s the truth brother, I know on up the road we are hiring for every reason under the sun except can they do the job, understand me, not bad people but people that once in the door can not deal with the down and dirty of this job, they are not firefighters in their heart and then the training just pampers that mindset, glad someone in leadership is standing up and I’ll be glad to get my hands dirty for those that want a better standard of training and an old school mentality just like I received from instructors like you and Ja*** ***s when I cut my teeth into the service!!!

THIS IS FROM ONE OF THE INSTRUCTORS (Will Gregory )

I had a conversation with Steve one day concerning this Class. I was told that it would never happen. No one would take it and everyone would think it's crazy to go 24 hours. So I agreed with Steve to do 12 hours this time. Maybe if all goes well this year, next year we will increase the hours. The reason behind this class is we are killing firefighters everyday. Career or Volunteer, it doesn't matter the title we are still dying doing the job. It seems that generations are changing but the job is still the same. I have noticed over the past couple of years while teaching and doing the job that we are lacking the truth about the job. Everything is so Political and Needs to be Correct. Truth is that we are NOT TEACHING THE TRUTH due to the repercussions that we will get from the students or other firefighters. Honestly, If you ever get in a situation that you have to fight to survive and what you have been taught kick's in, as an Instructor we have done our job. Days of LACK of Training, Lack of taking Responsibilities for your own actions are unacceptable now. Attitude Reflects Leadership and Leadership brings all of us together as one.
