The graduation ceremonies continue!!! This week we have the amazing Luke moving on to the next chapter in his guitar journey! I couldn’t be prouder of his progress so far! Apart from our book studies, we have been working on some bangers for the recital as well, such as songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival and Linkin Park! I can’t wait to see what he decides to pick! Go Luke!!! I hope you’re all having a great week out there so far!

Hey everyone! Here is a clip of Mike and me rocking out to the song Scars That I’m Hiding by the band From Ashes to New!! Mike has been making so much progress on the bass over the past year, and I really love how diverse all of his song choices are! I never heard this band before, but this song slaps, and I’m a huge fan of In Flames, so this was an absolute blast to learn with him! I’m super proud of his progress so far, and I can’t wait to hear what song he wants to go into next! Go Mike!!! I hope you all have a wonderful week out there!!

Hey everyone! Here’s a clip of Nate and me rocking out to the track Animal I Have Become by the band Three Days Grace!! I found a guitarless version of the song, so everything you’re hearing is just Nate crushing it! I’ve always loved this song, so I was super pumped when Nate suggested we go over it in class together! Nate is awesome, he’s been taking lessons at the school for a few years, and in that time he’s become a great guitar player! Apart from working on reading sheet music, we’ve covered a wide array of different genres and songs, this banger included! I can’t wait to hear what we get into next! Go Nate!!!! I hope you all have a great week out there!

Hey everyone! Here’s a clip of Vanessa and me jamming out to the track This Could Be Anywhere In The World by the band Alexisonfire! I was able to get a guitarless track of this song, so everything you’re hearing is Vanessa rocking out the lead parts of the song!! Vanessa has been taking lessons over the past year at the school, and in that time has grown so much as a musician! She puts her work into practicing reading sheet music, understanding music theory, as well as picking out bangers like this song to cover! I’m so proud of her progress, and hope she continues to grow on the instrument! Go Vanessa! I hope you’re all having a great week out there so far!!!

Hey everyone! Here is a clip of Lucas and me rocking out to the song Spin by Taking Back Sunday!! I absolutely love this track and the band, so I was super pumped when he suggested we go over it in class together!! Lucas has been taking lessons here for couple of years, and in that time I’ve watched him grow into an awesome musician! He’s become more confident in general, as well as competent on the instrument, both in his music theory studies and playing! It makes my heart truly happy to see my students grow this way!! I can’t wait to see him rocking out on stage with his band soon! Go Lucas!!! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week out there so far!!

Hey everyone! We have a serious rock star alert! Here’s part 2 of August and me rocking out to the song No More Tears by Ozzy Osbourne!! This part is featuring the iconic solo that was originally performed by Zakk Wylde! This is a guitarless track we played to, so everything you’re hearing is just August absolutely ripping! He was even making the whale sounds for crying out loud 😂!! I am always floored when it comes to his progress on the instrument and as a musician in general over the past couple of years. I honestly couldn’t be prouder of one of my students. I hope he continues growing as a guitar player, and finds a band so I can come see him rocking out on stage! Anyway, I was super pumped to post this one, go August!!!! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week!

Hey everyone! We have another graduate in the ranks! Logan has been excelling on the ukulele over the past year, and it’s been a blast teaching him fun songs like the theme to Spongebob Squarepants, as well as waatching him grow as a musician on the instrument! He’s a nut in class, and I love it!! Go Logan! I hope you all have a wonderful week out there!!

Hey everyone! Here’s a clip of the mighty Finn and me rocking out to the track Disposable Heroes by Metallica! This is definitely one of my favorite songs off of their Master of Puppets record, and it is an absolute scorcher on the guitar!! I was able to find a guitarless track for this so you could hear how good Finn sounds on this! He’s been taking lessons at the school for a while, but this year in particular I think he’s grown tremendously as a guitar player. We’ve been working on a lot of difficult tracks, this one included, and every week I see him improving on his techniques! I really couldn’t be prouder, and hope he continues to grow as a musician! The next song is going to be a banger, we’re already working on it!! Go Finn!! I hope you all have a great week out there!!

Hey everyone!! Here’s a clip of Ethan and I jamming out to the song Cinnamon Girl by Type O Negative, originally recorded by Neil Young! It is a cover of a cover, if you will!! Ethan and I had so much fun on this track, and I really couldn’t be prouder of him!! He’s been taking lessons at the school for years, I even remember when his legs couldn’t reach the floor while he was sitting down!!!! He’s grown into an intelligent musician, a great guitar player and fine young man! Apart from rocking out, we still put time into reading sheet music and studying music theory as well! He’s always putting effort into the guitar, and it certainly shows! Go Ethan!! I hope you’re all having a good week out there so far!!
