We have a couple of HeartWay Homeschool Co-op families that are putting on together a Student Trade and Career Fair to be held at the Silsbee Public Library. We have several local businesses that have agreed to set up a table and speak to 7-12th grade students about their trade, how to get started, certifications required, etc.

We are still looking for a few more businesses. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in setting up a table, please let us know! The QR code on this flyer will take you to an informational document that will explain the event.

This past week on HeartWay campus...
3rd Grade Nature Class 🌱
The kids love their nature walks. They designed and filled their cardboard bouquets during our walk.

HS Culinary completed their Week 1 of chopped! They were tasked to create an appetizer using cream cheese and butter crackers.

HeartWay Homeschool co-op is having one more informational meeting on Tuesday, April 7th at 1 PM on the campus of Journey Community Church.

We have space for K4 and K5 students, one opening for 3rd grade, 5th, and 7th grade. We also have two openings for 8th and 10th grade. We are an academic co-op that meets on Tuesdays.

Our ASL class posted famous deaf people for Deaf History Month in April!

Come check us out for our last info meeting as we have a few spots in some grade levels (K4, K5, one opening in 3rd grade, 5th grade, 7th grade, 2 openings in 8th grade and 10th grade.)

Our info meeting is April 7th at 1 pm in the chapel

This week on campus, science classes were having fun!!

7th grade Building and Design students created flying machines and had a contest to see which airplanes flew the farthest

Our biology class did a lab on animals with microscope slides

2nd graders were working on their paper mache pigs.
4th graders played Headbanz in ASL class
Our high school Biology class was dissecting frogs.

Thanks to everyone who attended one of the two informational meetings this week. We are glad you could make it out.

There will be no more info meetings as most likely, all our classes will be filled.

We pray that those who are searching for meaningful relationships in a home school group may find them this coming year.
