My name is Tia Hargrove I am the owner of Hargrove Academy. The reason I started Hargrove Academy was first because I saw what my son was going through in school and trying to get help from his teacher that was supposed to be helping him not putting him down! Second I love helping kids I see myself in so many of them that don't have any kind of support system, so a lot of them give up trying. These schools these days are nothing like they were when we grew up. Schools label these kids and kick them out instead of trying to figure out what's going on what's causing them to act the way they are, not realizing that because of whatever is going on with them and the schools not trying to help them they fall to what they are learning in the streets, the streets become their school. So I feel like I have something to give back to these kids. I can help them get on the right track help them get an education help them to graduate. Show them they can go to college or get a job till they are ready to go to college, but all and all show them they can become someone, go out into the world and say I DID IT! I will be there for them 110%
