Ms. Alexander’s 8th-grade science class visited the lab and built 3D molecular models to explore how atoms combine to form molecules and compounds.

Students in Ms. Becnel’s 7th grade math class participated in a Gallery Walk to analyze their classmates’ work and determine whether proportional graphs, equations, and descriptions were clearly represented and correctly matched the given chart or graph. Students practiced explaining their thinking, checking for accuracy and learning from one another along the way!

Ms. DeFelice’s students are kicking off a new unit of study with a hands-on investigation in the science lab! Today, they tested the evaporation rates of isopropyl alcohol and vinegar, making observations, collecting data, and putting their scientific thinking to work.
