💙💛 Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 💛💙

Today, we celebrated the amazing custodians who work hard every day to keep LEMS clean, safe, and ready for our Leopards! 🐆✨

Our students helped make the day extra special by creating appreciation cards filled with messages of thanks, and we provided dinner for our custodial team as a small way to show just how much we appreciate everything they do. 🍽️💙

Thank you for the early mornings, late evenings, and countless things you do behind the scenes to take care of our school. LEMS wouldn’t be the same without you!

🐆💙💛 We appreciate you! 💛💙🐆

📚✨ A great day to be a reader!

Ms. Gerhardy’s class had the opportunity to attend the KC Read-In, where students spent the day celebrating the joy of reading! 💙💛 They enjoyed listening to books being read aloud, sharing in some great stories, and ending the experience with a sweet treat from Pelican’s SnoBalls! 🍧📖

What a fun way for our Leopards to experience how books can bring us together! 🐆📚

🏺🔐 Collaboration + Creativity = Learning in Action!

Mrs. Smith and our librarian, Mrs. Baccomo, collaborated to create a hands-on breakout experience to bring the Ancient Egypt unit to life!

Students tackled The Case of the Lost Pharaoh, working together to solve clues, crack locks, and put their knowledge of Ancient Egypt to the test. 📜🗝️ And, of course, the experience wouldn’t be complete without a little mummification fun! 😂
