Mrs. Farr’s 2nd grade class had a special visit from Mrs. Brittney at the Museum of East Texas! 💜

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, our students learned about the life and artwork of Frida Kahlo and then created portraits inspired by her. They practiced drawing facial features, shading different skin tones, and adding details like eye color.

We loved getting to learn, create, and connect art with history! 🎨

🐯💜 Our first Tiger Team Time was a success! 🧡

We loved coming together as a school to celebrate teamwork, positive choices, and all the wonderful things happening at Dunbar Primary!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hughes’ class for being named our Class of the Week! 🎉

We also celebrated two students from each class who were recognized for their outstanding positive behavior. We are so proud of these Tigers for showing kindness, responsibility, respect, and leadership! ⭐️

What a wonderful way to kick off Tiger Team Time! We can’t wait to see who we celebrate next! 🐯💜🧡

From early mornings to full trays and kind hearts, they do so much more than serve lunch… they serve love. 💛 Thank you for all you do for our students and school every single day! 🍽️✨

Our 1st Grade GT students turned learning into a real-world experience! 🛍️✨ After exploring goods and services, consumers, and producers, they became entrepreneurs and created their very own stores. From planning to selling, they got hands-on, first-hand experience running a business and serving their “customers.” Learning has never looked so fun—or so real!
