🌟 CLASSROOM SPOTLIGHT: PREP – Kingdom Kids! 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our PREP classroom and our wonderful co-teachers, Ms. Mindy & Ms. Kassidy! 💛

PREP is an exciting year at FCCP! Our goal is to prepare our children for kindergarten while still honoring what we know about young children: they learn best when they are actively engaged, exploring, creating, moving, and having FUN!

✏️ Handwriting Without Tears
Our PREP students are building important pre-writing and handwriting skills through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities. They’re strengthening fine-motor skills, learning correct letter formation, and building the confidence they’ll need for kindergarten.

🧩 Learning Through Centers
Our classroom centers are much more than playtime! Through dramatic play, blocks, manipulatives, art, sensory experiences, books, writing, and other intentional learning centers, our children practice:
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Early math and literacy skills
• Creativity and imagination
• Cooperation and communication
• Independence and responsibility

🙏 Faith at the Center
Most importantly, our faith-based curriculum keeps Jesus at the heart of our day. Through Bible stories, prayer, praise and worship, Scripture, and everyday conversations, our children are learning that they are created, known, and deeply loved by God.

❤️ Preparing the Whole Child
In PREP, kindergarten readiness is about more than knowing letters and numbers. Ms. Mindy and Ms. Kassidy are helping our children learn to follow routines, work independently, communicate their needs, manage emotions, build friendships, solve problems, and develop a genuine love of learning.

We are so excited about what’s happening in our PREP classroom! These Kingdom Kids are learning, growing, creating, exploring, and building a strong foundation—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. 🌱✝️📚

Our FCCP kiddos enjoyed a faith-filled day of Praise, Pledge, and Prayer—along with Chapel! We love helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually while learning about the love of Jesus. 💛
