WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

Today, St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the incredible courage, sacrifice, and selflessness shown by first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As a school community, we pray for the families who continue to carry the loss of loved ones and give thanks for the heroes who ran toward danger to help others. May we continue to teach our students the importance of courage, compassion, service, and unity.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Today was one of our FAVORITE days of the school year—GRANDPARENTS DAY CHAPEL! ❤️🦁

This morning, we had the privilege of inviting our grandparents to join us for chapel as we celebrated and honored the incredibly special role they play in the lives of our students. Our hearts were so full seeing a packed house with more than 300 people gathered together! What a beautiful reminder of just how special our SCES family truly is. ❤️

After chapel, our grandparents got to take their grandkids to the Scholastic Book Fair, which is always such a fun tradition and a sweet way to make even more memories together! 📚✨

To all of our wonderful grandparents—thank you for the love, encouragement, wisdom, and support you pour into our students each and every day. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are so grateful for each of you.

🎸🦁 Just another thing that makes SCES so special! ❤️💙

In 3rd grade, Mrs. Greer teaches our Lions how to play the guitar! 🎶 We love watching their excitement as they learn new chords, practice songs, and discover a whole new love for music.

Music class is always a favorite, and we love that Mrs. Greer gives our students the opportunity to learn something they'll be able to enjoy for years to come!

This week, Ms. Bailey’s 4k class had so much fun exploring the Elements of Art: Color & Line! 🎨🖍️

Each student took a turn creating different types of lines across the floor, then worked together to look at and discuss the different lines and colors they created. What a fun, hands-on way for our littlest Lions to learn, create, and explore! 🦁❤️💙

We love seeing learning come to life through creativity at SCES! ✨ A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Becky for always making Art class so much fun for our students! 🎨❤️

We had the BEST first day of school here at SCES! ❤️🦁 Walking the halls and seeing so many smiling faces, sweet reunions, and lots of fun made our hearts so happy. There’s nothing better than having our Lions back on campus and kicking off another amazing school year together!

The halls are full, the classrooms are alive with excitement, and our Lions are BACK! There’s nothing quite like the first day of school—new classrooms, new friendships, new adventures, and a brand-new year ahead. ✏️✨
