Boo Grams for sale $2. You can send them to your favorite teacher or friends. And parents can send them to their students. Boo Grams come with a temporary tattoo.

Don’t forget that tonight is the night for Open House & Literacy Night. PTK will be set up between the cafeteria and library. We will be selling Boo Grams for a $2. Book Fair is also going to be going on as well.

Hi Families!

Our Parent Teacher Kids (PTK) is all about making school more fun, exciting, and successful for our kids — but we can’t do it without YOU.

We know life is busy, so we’re making it easy:
• Quick Jobs → 10–20 minutes before or after school.
• At-Home Help → Cutting, printing, or organizing from your couch.
• Event Fun → Helping at a carnival, movie night, or class party.Every little bit counts — even one small task helps our kids in a BIG way!

💡 Ways to get involved this month:
• Donate supplies (cups, napkins, craft items, etc.)
• Help decorate for Grandparents day (Thursday September 4,2025 )
• Volunteer 30 minutes at lunch (Grandparents day pictures)

🎉 Volunteers don’t just help kids — they get to be part of the fun, make new friends, and show our children the power of teamwork.

Herty Hornets be on the look out for T-shirt order forms and Hertywood star order forms that should be coming home this week. This is the designs for the tshirts that we have this year.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to give snacks and drinks to our wonderful staff before the first day of school. We are so thankful for Raising Cane's in Lufkin donating Teas and Lemonade for staff.
