Getting to Know Officer Isaac Montilla

Please welcome the newest member of our team, Officer Isaac Montilla! Officer Montilla is a Lufkin native who is deeply connected to our local community.

He brings valuable experience to our schools, having launched his law enforcement career at the Lufkin Police Department. During his five years there as a patrol officer, he took advantage of multiple opportunities to receive Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT). In addition, while at LPD, Officer Montilla obtained an Intermediate Texas Peace Officer License. Officer Montilla is also bilingual, which helps him connect effectively with our diverse student body and families.

Out of uniform, he is a dedicated family man, married with three beautiful young children. Officer Montilla is thoroughly enjoying his transition from municipal policing to school-based law enforcement. He loves getting to know students by name and is especially proud to be a member of our middle school and elementary school campus communities.
